Industry Veteran Brings Wealth of Knowledge to Benefit CRAs
Roanoke, VA, September 25, 2019 - Securitec Screening Solutions, the background screening industry’s leading 100% wholesale Court Data as a Service (CDaaS) provider, is pleased to announce that Rory Bogdon, Vendor Services Manager for Securitec, has been named as Co-Chair for the Government Relations Access Sub-Committee for the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA).
The PBSA Government Relations Access Sub-Committee is made up of industry volunteers who are passionate about the fundamental right to access Public Records and ensure that there is adequate information to accurately match and report criminal cases. Over the past 3 years, Kevin Horval (IntelliCorp), has co-chaired the sub-committee with Kathleen Nottingham (HireRight). Kevin is moving to the main Government Relations Committee, making way for Rory (Securitec) to segue as co-chair for the Access Committee.
Kathleen Nottingham, Rory’s new Co-Chair on the committee, says, “Rory has been an active member in the committee and has helped successfully tackle states like Montana, Georgia, and jurisdictions such as Cook County, IL. His expertise with court runners and systems across the US and his leadership on these taskforces makes him a great choice for a co-chair.”
“Rory has demonstrated an authentic dedication to the industry over the last 8 years and is known for his unwavering level of professionalism,” states Jessica James, President & CEO of Securitec. “Rory’s proactive approach to the background screening industry mirrors our own corporate culture of working in the front lines for a good cause to help CRAs. We are giving Rory the time and resources he needs to serve in this important PBSA volunteer role and do a quality job. I know I speak for all of us at Securitec when I say we are proud of Rory’s commitment to the PBSA, we know he will do a stellar job as Co-Chair of this subcommittee.”
“I am excited to leverage my experience to help our clients, partners, and the industry as a whole,” said Bogdon. “As data privacy continues to become a top concern, the work of this subcommittee is exceedingly important to ensure we can accurately match record information to the responsible parties, while taking care to protect personal identifying information from being misused.”
