JESSICA JAMES
President & CEO

Jessica is founder, owner, and CEO of Securitec.  She leads the day to day operations of the firm including Research, QA, and Customer Service.   Jessica is an industry veteran with over 12 years of experience in the background screening industry.  She maintains key customer relationships and has managed the organization through consistent and profitable growth since inception. Jessica’s leadership has led to the development of new product offerings, efficiency, and cost-savings for clients. 


Working in tandem with Securitec's technology division based in Research Triangle Park, NC, Jessica has changed how the industry responds to client needs with the development of Securitec's industry-leading Synaptec™ software product. 

 

Prior to founding Securitec, Jessica was a teacher at Roanoke City Schools for three years.  Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree from Roanoke College in Spanish and Education. As a current leader in the background screening industry, Jessica is proud to have been recognized as a member of SWAM (Single Woman and Minority Owned Businesses) and was the proud recipient of Top Technology Company of 2016 by the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a member of NAPBS, ConcernedCRA.com, and Public Record Retriever Network.
