CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representatives at Securitec Screening Solutions are the voice and interface of the organization to our valued customers.  Our enthusiastic, highly skilled, problem solving, innovation solution providing representatives will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, be well trained in and an expert of product knowledge enabling them to provide quick and accurate assistance to our customers, which is critical for the continued success & future growth of the business.  ​

 

Responsibilities 

·       Resolution of customer inquiries via phone and email

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Strong analytical ability with problem solving skills

·       Maintain a professional, positive and courteous demeanor

·       Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients while working to establish a positive rapport with every caller

·       Ability to quickly and completely determine the reason for the call or problem identification and the offering of a recommended solution

·       Utilization of computer platform technology to handle high call volumes, when necessary

·       Closing out opening of call records and prevention of any possible cancellations

·       Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered to every customer

·       Update customer information in the customer service database upon completion of every call or email to insure records and customer profiles are up to date

·       Work with the management team to stay abreast of any product or policy changes

·       Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning possible frustrated clients into repeat customers

 

Required Skills & Experience

·       Professional business oriented communication skills both verbally and written

·       Strong computer and internet application navigation skills

·       Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·       Proof reading, data entry, typing, and phone interviewing abilities

·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy of the work conducted

·       Strong analytical capabilities

·       Problem solving expertise

·       Preference given for Associate or Bachelor Degrees, however a High School Diploma or equivalent is also acceptable with a good work record

 

Expectations & Deliverables

 

·       Business casual environment in a state of the art facility with individual well-appointed work stations and employee break rooms

·       Eight AM to Five PM, Monday – Friday work schedule with the opportunity for some additional overtime during the week

·       Competitive starting hourly wage depending upon experience/background/work history
